People-Power Event - August 3rd (Saturday)

Gathering in Johnson’s Cove south of the Governors Island bridge at about 10:30am. Going through bridge for a count about 11:00am. This year’s theme is Crazy Hats!

If you can paddle it, pedal it, row it, swim it, drag it or otherwise get it through the bridge without a motor please get it out there so we can count it. As always, counting vessels, people, dogs and anything else worth counting!

We really need more help if we are going to pull this off successfully. We need an official counter, a couple of judges for creative prizes and a couple of people with a boat to hand out give-always when we all gather. Please contact Drennan Lowell on Facebook or find the post in Big Island Pond People if you are willing to help!

Looking forward to seeing you...
